What is Tajweed?
Tajweed means “to beautify or improve.” In Quranic terms, it refers to the set of rules that govern pronunciation, articulation, and pauses in Quran recitation. It ensures that every letter is pronounced from its correct place (makhraj) and with its rightful characteristics (sifaat). “Those to whom We have given the Book recite it with its true recital. They [are the ones] who believe in it…”— [Surah Al-Baqarah: 2:121]

Beautify Your Recitation, Earn Double Reward, and Connect with the Quran as It Was Revealed.
Have you ever felt that your heart remains distracted even while reading the Quran? You’re not alone. Many Muslims recite the Quran regularly but don’t feel the spiritual peace it promises.
Why? Two major reasons: Improper Pronunciation
Reading the Quran without Tajweed is like misreading an unfamiliar language—it loses its meaning and beauty. Not Understanding What We Read
Even if we try, mispronunciation without proper rules makes recitation robotic, not rhythmic. That’s where Tajweed becomes essential.
